Our Rump roasting joint is a great, tasty alternative for your Sunday roast. We would recommend it be cooked to medium for the best eating qualitites.
Preheat oven to 180c (Gas 5). Season the beef generously with salt, black pepper and a rubbing of olive oil. Place on a trivet of carrots, onions, leeks and celery.
Rare: 30 minutes per kg
Medium: 50 minutes per kg
Well Done: 1 hour per kg
Remove from the oven and leave to rest in a warm place under tin foil for 30 minutes.
